Hissey Kientz Launches New Mesothelioma Lawsuit Blog

Stem Legal congratulates our client Hissey Kientz on the launch of their new Mesothelioma Lawsuit Blog.  A serious form of cancer commonly caused by exposure to asbestos, mesothelioma has given rise to lawsuits that now constitute the most significant mass tort in U.S. history, with approximately 3,000 lawsuits filed annually.

Construction workers—including electricians, painters, plumbers and roofers—and workers employed at oil or chemical refineries, factories, or other industrial sites are among the individuals most heavily affected by exposure. In addition, many family members or other loved ones of these asbestos workers were also inadvertently exposed to asbestos fibers that were carried into the home. Thousands of veterans of the U.S. Navy or Merchant Marines have also been exposed to asbestos that was used as insulation or in machine parts aboard the ships on which they served.

The new blog will prove a valuable resource for mesothelioma victims and asbestos attorneys, with the latest news and legal commentary on developments in the field of asbestos law. Posts on the new blog are grouped into the following categories:
