Prezi in a webpage: impress.js

Geek Factor: 3

One of the rising stars of online presentations is, which offers a very cool 3D effect of zooming in and out of your presentation elements.

A relatively new javascript library is now available that replicates many of those effects, called  impress.js. Developed by Bartek Szopka, this OS library utilizes CSS3 3D transitions – recreating some of the Prezi presentation experience.

You’ll need a webkit supported browser, which typically means Chrome or Safari. These browsers support the newest updates in CSS3 3D effects, and make this demo well worth looking at!

A copy of the library is available for download on GitHub, where it has been trending solidly for some time.
